- 17th September - Theatre trip to Bristol (details to follow by Parentmail)
- 23rd September - Parent meeting for the upcoming residential trip (in Didcot class straight after school)
- 22nd October - WOW! Day (WW2 - details to follow)
Timetable
Each morning, children will practice a mix of Year 3 - 4 and Year 5 - 6 spellings.
The spelling lists for the term are available here and will be given out at the start of each term. Spelling tests will take place on a Friday.

Homework Expectations
Homework will be handed out on a Friday and should be handed in on or before the following Wednesday. Each week, one piece of English and one piece of Maths will be set. Children should also read daily and record in their reading record. In addition, all pupils have access to the Times Tables Rockstars and Doodle Maths apps to practise skills at home.

How can you help at home?
- Ask your child what they have been learning today at school.
- Please listen to your child read each day - little and often - it should be fun and not a chore.
- Help them with their spellings.
- Praise independence.
- Tell us about achievements at home.
Highlights
Year 6 - General Photos
Reading class have been working hard using online Cuisenaire rods to solve algebraic equations using great perseverance which earned them a whole class gold card.
Paddington class have been making a timeline of the events leading up to World War 2, in their History class.
